Yes, I agree, WTF is that, I'm still not sure myself but it looks incredible! I think it's some sort of space age desk object which will amuse you for hours on end while you wave a wand around it. Here is a little explination of what's inside it... Ferrofluid is a liquid which becomes strongly magnetized in the presence of a magnetic field, to create suspended color shifting shapes.
